In lesson 3 the students will research the impact of the death of Henry VIII within his own Court and the wider picture for Mary.The improvisation takes in the trip to Inchmaholme for safety and the letters written there by Mary of Guise to her French family.

This lesson intends to help students to understand the tension surrounding Mary, the fears of her mother and the debate over whether she should have left Scotland at this time.

Drama skills are group improvisation, mime, tableau, corridor of thought.
