The Selfish Giant

This is a lovely adaptation of the famous story by Oscar Wilde. It is suitable for around age 6 up and works very well with a mixed age group.

The story comprises 4 lessons with movement and mime, improvisation, turn-taking, characterisation and role-play. Music suggestions given.

The story is quite haunting and can be easily used with older students at a deeper level although even younger children can display surprisingly profound connections with it.
