In this lesson suitable for age 4-5 the children are taken through the days of the week through the lives of two characters Ally and Sam.
They will learn additionally to consider times of the day - morning, lunchtime, teatime, bed.
They will invent the busy lives of the two child characters most likely based on their own lives and listen to the ideas of other children to reach a compromise on what will be happening on a daily basis for them.
Teachers can introduce the clock face and the connection between clock times and their activities.
This lesson can be done in a classroom.
