This lesson is the incredible Transantarctic journey made by Shackleton and his team from 1914-1917. The students will "become" the explorers, consider the qualities they had and the challenging setbacks of the trip offset against a backdrop of the First World War. Suitable for ideally age 10+ although could be adapted for a younger class.
